Medical Surveillance for Former
This project has developed a medical screening program for former workers of the Department of Energy's Nevada Test Site (NTS) in order to prevent and minimize the health impact of diseases caused by site-related workplace exposures. The aim of this project is to identify, locate, and screen high risk groups of former construction trades workers who worked in the tunnels, shafts, drillholes, and atmospheric testing areas of the Nevada Test Site. The medical screening program for former Nevada test Site workers is part of the Department of Energy's Former DOE Workers' Medical Surveillance Program.
