| PURPOSE AND CONTENT The
purpose of this session is to give participants time to work in country groups to develop
the outline of a proposal which they will be able to present to the group on the last day
of the course.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of this session participants will be able to:
1. Outline a problem faced in their country
2. List and select interventions to address the problem
3. Design a study to assess the intervention
4. Define outcome variables
5. Plan the analysis of data
6. Prepare a chart to display results
7. Prepare a Gantt chart
8. Prepare a budget
9. Make a presentation
PREPARATION
The last 2 weeks have been preparation for this session.
The purpose of this session is for you to work in a group to produce an intervention
proposal that can be presented to other course members.
